Dashiell Robb is a Designer at Fat Pencil Studio
Teaghan Phillips comes from the wilds of Davis, California. With a background in law, design, and community support work, she brings a wealth of talent to the Fat Pencil team.
Teaghan went to Whitman College where she pursued a major in Environmental Humanities, studying the way the Mexican border influences cultural and political conceptions of race and identity. After school, Teaghan lived in Portland for seven years, working in a series of roles leveraging her Spanish fluency as a grant writer and mentor in Portland Public Schools, and the local Latino community. Continuing her passion for advocacy she provided paralegal and translation services for a local immigration deportation defense attorney.
In 2021 she relocated back to California, taking a job with Lattice HR, a tech company. She gravitated to the organization and speed of tech, and, realizing that design helps unite her many experiences and passions, moved to London in 2023 to pursue a UX Bootcamp.
A lover of the great outdoors, Teaghan enjoys dance, backpacking, and cooking with her friends. She loves reading and rocking out to some classic funk jams. Some favorites include Sly and the Family Stone and Chaka Khan. She loves a good pasta Puttanesca. She is excited to return to Portland, and work with Fat Pencil, connecting her many experiences and interests to make impactful design.
